Showers and thunderstorms forecast through Monday
SHOWERS and thunderstorms are expected across North Cyprus through Monday, according to the Meteorology Department’s latest forecast.
The department’s weekly outlook for October 3–9 says the region will remain under the influence of a cool, moist air mass, with maximum temperatures ranging from 26°C to 29°C both inland and along the coast.
Showers or thunderstorms are forecast for Saturday, Sunday and Monday, followed by cloudy conditions for the remainder of the forecast period.
Winds will generally blow from the north at moderate strength, becoming strong at times
